Teenagers and Texting

I'm on vacation this week with my family. We are staying at Disney. We try to come each year. As I went on the rides with my kids, it was very interesting to watch my girls (15 and 10) text their friends and send them pictures as they were experiencing the rides in real-time. Their networks of friends were actually experiencing the parks at Disney via the texts and picture messaging my daughters were sending them. What was astonishing to me was how natural and second nature it was for them to communicate in this way. The wireless mobile device was a natural communication tool for them just like their hands or voice.
